SANTA FE - Mr. Michael Ray McCraven passed from this life Monday morning, October 4, 2021, in League City.

Born July 30, 1953 in Fort Mills, South Carolina, Mr. McCraven had been a resident of Santa Fe since 2003, previously of South Houston. Michael enjoyed antique cars, guns and his 1956 Harley.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Ray McCraven, Sr. and Nancy Mae (Hancock) Burtan; brother, Kenneth Wayne McCraven.

Survivors include his loving partner of over 4 years, Debbie Ravey; brothers, Larry Steven McCraven of North Pole, Alaska, Charles Richard McCraven of Fairbanks, Alaska, Cecil Ray McCraven, Jr. and wife, Tracy of Rock Hills, South Carolina; cousins, Karl Horvath, Theresa Lynn Welch of both of Clayton, North Carolina; beloved dogs, Gracie, Buddy and Buster; numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Murphy’s on 6, 14710 Highway 6, Santa Fe, TX with Pastor Charlie Rolo officiating. Interment will be at Restwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Jackson.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Michael’s name to any animal organization.
