SANTA FE - Naomi Joyce Anders passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at her home, with her loving husband by her side.


Joyce was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful follower of Jesus Christ. A homemaker by choice, she dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a loving home. She was known for her selfless heart, kind spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need.


Nothing brought Joyce greater joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved attending their sporting and cheerleading events, as well as band and choir performances. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and was a talented seamstress. She was also deeply devoted to her church and serving Christ all her life.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Doris Naomi (Ivey) Sanderford, Sr.; brother, William Sanderford.


Joyce is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Anders; her son, Jason Anders and wife, Dawn; her daughters, Jennifer Potrykus and husband, Kyle, Stacey Jackson and husband, Kevin; brothers, Gene Allen Sanderford, Jr., Clarence David Sanderford; her beloved grandchildren; numerous other family members. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.


Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2026, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, Texas, with Pastor Howard Agnew officiating. Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.


Pallbearers will be Jason Anders, Logan Anders, Nathan Anders, Kevin Jackson, Kyle Potrykus and Drew Viner.
