Obituary

Pedro Lopez, Sr.

LA PORTE – Mr. Pedro Lopez, Sr. passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, June 8, 2022, in Pasadena.

Pedro was born October 7, 1952, in Galveston to Juan and Belen Lopez. He joined the United States Marines and proudly served his country. With camping came fishing, another activity Pedro enjoyed. Pedro dedicated 36 years to Ineos chemical plant before retiring but while he was there, he became a volunteer firefighter. He also taught firefighter classes at A&M in College Station. He was a war movie buff and loved watching any flick that focused on the military. Pedro was a great husband, father and family member who will be greatly missed.
