SANTA FE - Mr. Phillip Wayne Walker passed from this life Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023, in Santa Fe.

Born June 18, 1982 in Galveston, Mr. Walker had been a lifelong resident of the area. He had been a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed watching football, taking his niece and nephew to football games and playing pool.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Ray Walker; daughter, Katalina Walker; brother, Nathaniel Williams; grandparents, Phil Walker, Genevieve Jeansonne.

Survivors include his mother, Paulette Walker and Jerry Becker of Santa Fe; step-mother, Mary Walker; son Cameron Walker of Ohio; daughter, Catelyn Walker of Oklahoma; brother, David Ray Walker and wife, Miquela of Hitchcock; sisters, Nicole Walker of Webster, Christina Touchstone of Kansas, Jennifer Walker, Crystal Gale Walker.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 –11:00, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX, with Mr. Lloyd Smith officiating.
