Rhea Lynn (Sprayberry) Jacob

SANTA FE - Mrs. Rhea Lynn Jacob passed from this life Saturday afternoon, August 31, 2024, in Santa Fe.

Born January 3, 1961, in Houston, A former member of the Rainbows, Rhea was part of a community that was dear to her heart, where she formed lifelong friendships and contributed to many meaningful activities. A skilled seamstress, she was known for her beautiful sewing creations, in addition to sewing, she had a deep love for reading, often losing herself in books that transported her to different worlds. Rhea was also a passionate cook, known for preparing meals that brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Her kitchen was a place of gathering, where she created not just food, but memories that will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Ella (Ellison) Sprayberry.

Survivors include her loving husband of nearly 29 years, Jay Jacob; sons, Brandon Johnson and wife, Many of Huntsville, George Mundinger of Baytown, Ethan Jacob of League City; grandchildren, Annie Webb, Charlotte Webb, Roger Webb and Janis Johnson.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
