SANTA FE - Ms. Rhonda Kay Boone passed from this life Wednesday morning, December 22, 2021 in Webster.

Born November 13, 1958 in Galveston, Ms. Boone had been a lifetime resident of Hitchcock and Alvin. Rhonda worked as a medical administrator’s assistant for the Medical Center and UTMB for 20 years, she also had her own business, “Simply O” making and selling organic products. Her favorite thing was to get her family together, cooking and spend time with her grandkids

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Maurice and Shirley Ann (Turner) Cagle; nephew, Jared Reed.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Bolton of Alvin, Michael “Tiger” Boone and wife, Melia of Galveston; daughter, Erin McAfee and husband, Dan of Santa Fe; sister, Stacey Griswold and husband, Bo of Friendswood; nephew, Brandon Reed (Soria); niece Nicole Cleary (Brandon); great nephew, Kinley Reed; great nieces, Nori, Violet and Murphy Reed; grandchildren, Talan, Vail, Taylor and Ella McAfee, Sydney Bolton, Colin and Ava Boone.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
