Mr. Robert Glen “Tiny” Guidry, Sr. passed from this life Monday, June 22, 2026, in Webster.


Born on July 27, 1957, he lived a life defined by service, hard work, and dedication to those he loved. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing and celebrate the many memories he leaves behind.


He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, carrying the values of honor, discipline, and commitment throughout his life. Following his military service, he worked as an operator in Chocolate Bayou for ten years.


He enjoyed many passions throughout his life. Fishing brought him peace and happiness, and he could often be found enjoying time on the water. Music was another great love, especially blues and zydeco. He also had a lifelong appreciation for motorcycles and cars.


One of his greatest joys was coaching youth baseball and soccer. He dedicated countless hours to mentoring young athletes, teaching them the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship.


He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched and the memories he created.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Joseph and Lauraline (Orebo) Guidry; brothers, Mark, Michael, Don and Brian Guidry.


Survivors include his sons, Jason J. Guidry and wife, Brittany, James Matthew Guidry, Sr., Robert Glen Guidry, Jr.; daughter, Montrelle Watson; siblings, James Guidry, Beverly A. Guidry, Lisa Lewinski, Calvin B. Guidry; grandchildren, James Mathew Guidry, Jr., Jasmiyn Raine Guidry, Traelon Jamall Myles; numerous nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a Rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Monsignor Anderson, Celebrant.  Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.


Casketbearers will be Jason Guidry, James Guidry, Sr., Robert Guidry, Jr., James Guidry, Jr., Calvin Guidry, Jr., and Traelon Myles.
