SANTA FE – Mr. Robert William Taylor passed away at the age of 58 on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Baytown.
Born June 16, 1966, in Galveston, TX, Mr. Taylor was a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. He served in the United States Army with dedication. After his service, he worked as a chemical operator with Foremark Performance Chemical demonstrating his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Beyond work, Robert found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time outdoors, whether fishing on quiet waters, tending to a thriving garden, reading a good book or burning brush in the pasture.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Louis and Mary Lee (Payne) Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Taylor; sons, Ben Taylor and wife, Ashley of Santa Fe, John Olivarez of Santa Fe, Christopher Garcia and wife, Megan of Corpus Christi; daughters, Shelby Smith and husband, Jeremy of Santa Fe, Carolyn Hamilton and husband, Deven of Manvel, Emily Taylor and Corid Campbell of Santa Fe, Lillian Taylor of Tomball, Gracie Taylor of Santa Fe; sisters, Lori Zaro and husband, Don, Lela Jeanie Bliss, Mary Joe Kilpatrick and husband, Doug all of Santa Fe; 15 grandchildren; fur baby, Cookie.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
