SANTA FE – Robert “Bob” Dennis Wright, AKA (Camaro Kid) passed away on September 1, 2024. He was born on December 26, 1943, to Eva K. Sova and Robert Keblbeck, Jr. in Midland, Michigan.

Bob served in the United States Coast Guard for 4 years and was stationed in New York Harbor.

He was a member of Pipefitters Local #211 and retired from Union Carbide, Texas City, Texas after 33 years of service.

He enjoyed showing his 2 classic cars, a 1967 RS/SS Camaro and a 1960 Corvette. He was a member of the Houston Area Chevrolet Club and the Space City Cruisers for many years.

Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deanna (Dee) Wright; sons, Darren G. Wright and wife, Sherilyn, Shane A. Wright; 2 grandchildren; stepson, David J. Madden; several nieces and nephews

The family would like to thank the staff at BeeHive Personal Care Home, and Magnolia Hospice Care fore making Bob’s last days comfortable.

A private memorial service for family will be held to celebrate Bob’s life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Magnolia Hospice, 2450 East Nasa Parkway, #150, Houston, Texas 77058, Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Hitchcock, Texas or a charity of your choice.
