Sharon Sanchez Obituary

Sharon Sanchez

TEXAS CITY - On June 14, 2019 Sharon Bares Sanchez met up with her Daddy & Mother (Albert H. Sr. and Jeanette Bares), father-in-law (Erasmo Sanchez, Sr.), Grandbaby Hardisty, nephews (Basillio Sanchez and Cody Hanson) and her beloved Chihuahua’s Munchkynn and Peanut on a new adventure with Jesus.

Sharon (born January 30, 1958) was known for her gentleness, care for others, and the unique way she made every individual feel absolutely loved - no conditions attached. She received her inner strength from her faith in Jesus and the absolute JOY she found in being a wife and a mother. Sharon deeply adored her husband and highschool sweetheart of 46 years, Erasmo “Eddie” Sanchez Jr., and passionately loved her children Patrick David Sr. & Jennifer Sanchez, Michael David Sanchez, and Lyndon & Casey Hardisty; grandchildren Patrick Jr., Matthew & Victoria, Gabriel, Kalynn, Joshua, and Jonnathan; great grandson Carson; and especially her fur babies Ike, Geno, Poppy, and Katie Girl.

Sharon’s devotion to family was rooted in the unwavering love she received from her daddy. These roots allowed her to build an extremely close and unique relationship with each of her siblings: Vicki (Tony) Nolan, Albert (Connie) Bares, Mark (Debbie) Bares, and Karen (Ken) Kassler. This upbringing, coupled with her personality, resulted in the obvious: Sharon IS the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews!

Sharon’s legacy is illuminated with countless individuals that found an additional Mom, numerous animals that gained a fierce advocate, and many many names known and unknown that found a truly loyal and non-judgmental ear connected to a wellspring of LOVE!

JOY was Mom’s strength and with it she has provided us all with the path into a new chapter with her. She loved hard - thrived in spontaneity, practical jokes, bringing to life other’s dreams, and giving her entire heart to whoever was in front of her in the moment. Her laugh and smile were electrifying and her crazy antics created a contagious laughter that has always rippled through time.

Mom spent her life taking care of those she loved - it was her passion and brought her great joy. Even in her own hour of need, she humbled herself to ensure her Mother (suffering from Alzheimer’s) was loved and cared for at the highest possible degree. As she journeys on - we ask that you pay her love forward - it truly can change the world!!!!
