Tammie Lee (Park) Simpson

TEXAS CITY – Mrs. Tammie Lee Simpson passed from this life Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in Texas City.

Born June 20, 1965, In Texas City Texas, Mrs. Simpson was a longtime insurance adjuster with American National. Known for her warm heart and easy smile, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She loved simple pleasures — catching up on her favorite soap operas, trying her luck at the slots in local game rooms, and taking trips to casinos in Louisiana and wineries around Kerrville. Her fondness for the Hill Country, especially Llano and Kerrville, reflected her love of good company, laughter, and beautiful places.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carlton and Linda (Ridenour) Park; husband, Lloyd Simpson; grandson, Travis Bleakney, Jr.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, C.L. and Iris Simpson; brothers, Charles Park, Jimmy Park.

Survivors include sons, Christopher Simpson and wife, Brittany, Lane Simpson; daughter, Erica Lowry; brother, Travis Park; sister, Annette Barham and husband, Tommy; grandchildren, Trenton Bleakney, Liam Lowry, Wayne Simpson, Charlotte Simpson, Harrison Simpson, Rylan Simpson; numerous other family members.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Huffman Cemetery, 1705 Wright Street, Llano, Texas 78643.

Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2025, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, (409) 925-3501.
