SANTA FE - Ms. Wanda Irene Brown passed from this life Monday morning, September 12, 2022, in Santa Fe.

Wanda was born on February 23, 1957, in Houston to BC and Frances Irene (Wright) Brown. Wanda had a tender heart when it came to animals. She loved to take in and care for any stray animal that wondered her way… especially cats. She enjoyed going to the beach, keeping up with her yard and her flower gardens.

She was preceded in death by her father, BC Brown and a brother, Michael Lee Brown.

Survivors include her mother, Frances Brown; daughter, Kimberly Cannon and husband, Kevin; life partner, Tammy Wilson; brother, BC Brown, Jr.; grandchildren, Darrian Cannon, Megan Cannon, Bianca Cannon; niece, Blaire Brown; nephew, Travis Brown; fur babies, Zoey and Bunny.

Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.
