VIDOR – Mr. Wilburn Lee Davenport passed from this life Monday, September 23, 2024, in Vidor.


Born May 11, 1941, in Rockdale, Mr. Davenport had been a resident of Vidor for 30 years, previously of Beaumont. He was a food broker with Acosta Foods for 35 years. Wilburn had a deep love for the outdoors and took great pride in working on his property and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He cherished every opportunity to be in nature, whether in pursuit of game or enjoying the tranquility of a fishing trip.


He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Myrle (Davis) Davenport.


Survivors include his loving wife, Alisa Davenport; son, Ricky Davenport and wife, Germain of Vidor; daughter, Janet Loya and husband, Anthony of League City; brother, Kenneth Davenport and wife, Joyce of Santa Fe; grandson, Braden Loya; numerous nieces and nephews.


Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2024, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery.
