Willie Eugene Blanchard

Mr. Willie Eugene Blanchard passed from this life Sunday afternoon, May 19, 2024, in Santa Fe.

Born January 7, 1944, in Glencoe, OK, Mr. Blanchard had been a longtime resident of Santa Fe. Willie served in both the U.S. Army and the U.S Air Force, retiring from the Air Force in 1985. He then began his career as a carpenter working for CSA for 20 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 5400. In his spare time, he enjoyed gambling, especially the slots and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William W. and Velma (Tatum) Blanchard; wife, Linda Kaye (Salsbury) Blanchard.

Survivors include his sons, Kevin Blanchard and wife, Lucy Campos, Robert Blanchard and wife, Annette; grandchildren, William, Christina and Darryl Gill, Amber Garcia.

A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501.
