We are always interested in hearing from the families that we serve. Please take a moment to let us know how well we served you in your time of need. We very much appreciate your feedback.
Good afternoon...
I know this may come out of nowhere but it has been on my mind now that I am an adult to let you know how much your services meant to me when my mother passed away in 1997.
Her death was a very sudden issue and tore my father and I apart inside more than words can express, but your whole staff made it as bearable as possible and for that I am eternally grateful.
I spoke with my dad about it yesterday and we were going over how wonderful you all were and I recalled Mr. Card protecting me from the terrible sight that he had to witness when I asked about my mother's condition, and he was so very kind about it, and I have never forgotten that...even as I write this almost 30 years later, I am very moved by how you care for and treat your clients.
It was actually dealing with you guys that made me want to learn about medicine and get my BA in Healthcare Management. (I always wanted to be a mortician but was not sure how to go about it).
At any rate....I just wanted to let you know that the work you do does not leave people's minds and hearts when they leave the funeral home and I know how hard your jobs are and I want to say God bless you for what you do and thank you so very much.
We were so pleased with my mother‘s funeral hosted by Hayes funeral home. Elmer was so helpful in the quick preparation that we needed to make plans for her sendoff to Jesus.. He was compassionate as well as helpful in guiding us through the process. We appreciate everyone from Hayes that helped us.!
RIP my friend. I will miss you stopping by and us chatting. May your family have comfort.
Hayes Funeral Home was so good to us during our grandfather’s funeral in July that when my dad passed, we knew we wanted his services there as well. From the first call with the heartbreaking news to the day of the services, you made the process easier for us. We believe my dad would have wanted it that way, too. Chelsea supported us every step of the way, coordinating the wake, funeral, church, and cemetery. We’re so grateful to everyone at Hayes Funeral Home that helped us create a beautiful memory and celebration of my father’s life.
Thank you for everything.
All of my family would like to thank the Hayes Funeral Home, for giving my father, who was 98 years old, such a beautiful, emotional and memorable Veterans Service. The whole staff was very caring, friendly and welcoming to everyone. Together they did an awesome job making sure everything went as smoothly and perfectly as possible.
We began with the help of Mr. Elmer Card, who helped us transition from another funeral home to Hayes, just months before my father’s death. We wanted his service to be closer to the Hayes Grace Memorial Park where he was to be buried. He assured us everything would be honored from our old contract and it was. We are so happy we made the right choice. It was a blessing.
We would like to thank the funeral director, Chelsea Thompson, who was very organized and professional and who helped us above and beyond with all the final funeral arrangements. She was very kind and patient with us. She listened to our needs and wants without us feeling rushed and pressured in making all the decisions that needed to be made. Her wonderful and caring personality helped us feel at ease during the whole emotional process.
We will be forever grateful that Hayes Funeral home helped us celebrate the life of my father, and honored him with such a beautiful Veteran’s funeral service. It left us emotionally with such wonderful and loving memories of my father, that will forever be remembered.
Sincerely
Gilbert L. Gomez
I want to express my deepest gratitude to Hayes Funeral Home for the exceptional job they did with the memorial and services for my family. Our experience was genuinely remarkable, with every detail executed perfectly. We are left with cherished memories, thanks to their seamless coordination.
The ushers and staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, making my family feel supported during a difficult time. The military service was a beautiful and powerful ceremony that left a lasting impression. Their meticulous attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the event.
Thank you, Hayes Funeral Home, for providing such outstanding service and making a challenging time more bearable.
We would like thank each and every member of the Hayes Funeral Home for their excellent help in our time of loss for my husband, Roy Vick, on July 13, 2024.
Every task was performed perfectly. The service, the video was fantastic, the military service perfect. All staff members were so caring and helpful through a very hard time.
My family and I appreciate everything they did. Wonderful staff.
Thank you so very much.
I would like to thank Chelsea for her kindness, and helping my family through our loss.
Yes, she gets a salary for doing what she does, but she goes above and beyond to make things easier, we will never be able to thank this young lady enough.
Please accept my expression of gratitude for the splendid funeral service you carried out for my husband, Vincent “Snookie” Megale III, on March 18, 2024.
The intent was to honor Vince as the exceptional man he was, and more than one told me they thought it was a perfect service. In fact, I heard it several times.
From beginning to end, he was honored in a way he would have been humbled but proud.
Your office and staff were there when we needed help. We were always helped, grateful and well advised.
Sincerely,
Patricia Megale

Wonderful place
Everyone was fantastic before, during and after the funeral.
Excellent service and atmosphere, would be 5 stars if better lighting
The most kind and caring team of professional individuals. They took care of both my parents in the last two years and I'm thankful for all they did.
A big thank you from our family for the memorial that was prepared for my Mom, Karen and Dad, Paul Stellhorn... from the music, tribute video and military service tribute and the folding of the flag.
Thank you to Allen, Chelsea, Elmer, Frank, Kelly and Ron and everyone who worked so hard getting everything ready for the memorial service.
Hayes Funeral Home were so good to my mother, sisters, and I after my Dad passed 12 years ago, that I only have praise and thanks to give to these amazing servants.
I will never forget the service you offered and will always have a kind word for your organization all involved.
Hayes funeral home gave my mom, father and brother a bless, caring and loving send off back home to rest in heaven with our loving father.
I know it was not easy for any funeral home to prepare a service for 3 family members in 5 weeks but they did it, and they did it well.
Thank you for giving us some peace at such a sad time.
The Auzenne family really appreciated all your kindness
