     SANTA FE - Ms. Bonnie Ann Patterson passed from this life Friday evening, December 30, 2016, in Texas City.

     Born June 17, 1964 in Houston, Ms. Patterson had been a lifelong resident of Santa Fe. She was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and the ALS Association. She had worked for UTMB before going to American National Insurance Company. Bonnie helped coordinate weddings, organized cancer benefits, made flower arrangements and always had a smile.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice E. (Spears) Bates; step-brother, David Michael Jackson; step-sister, Melissa Jackson.

     Survivors include her parents, Tony and Patsy Patterson of Santa Fe; son, Tyler Patterson of Santa Fe; daughter, Lacey and husband, Robert Burge of Santa Fe; brother, Richard A. Patterson Sr., and wife, Kimberly of Santa Fe; grandchildren, Matthew Burge, Avery Patterson, Landon Burge, Abigail Patterson; nieces and nephews, Richard Patterson, Jr., Morgan and Rae Patterson, Michael Patterson, Christine Patterson, Amber Patterson; great-nephew, Porter.

     A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2017, at Arcadia First Baptist Church, with Dr. Rick Smith officiating.

     Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church, 14828 Highway 6, Santa Fe, TX. A private cremation was conducted under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
