Thomas Alexander Stewart, III

SANTA FE – Mr. Thomas Alexander Stewart, III passed from this life Monday, February 27, 2017, at home in Santa Fe.

Born October 10, 1933 in Galveston, Mr. Stewart had been a resident of Santa Fe since 1963. He was a member of the John Mitchell Masonic Lodge #1401 AF & AM in Hitchcock and the Plumbers Union Local #68, in Houston.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Alexander and Mary Ellen (Mitrovich) Stewart, II; daughter, Joyce Lynn Vail; sister, Eleanor Colburn.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Stewart; son, Thomas Anthony Stewart of Galveston; sister, Margie Pier of Diana, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Deacon Joe Hensley officiating.

Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Thomas’ name to the Women’s Shelter of your choice.
