Andrew Charles Hutchinson

     Andrew “Andy” Charles Hutchinson, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2016 at the age of 34 in Roanoke, Texas. Andy was born in Charleston, West Virginia on February 26, 1982. He will be fondly remembered as a devoted and loving father, husband, son and brother. Upon high school graduation at the age of 17, Andy enlisted in the United States Air Force. After 6 years of service, Andy worked in the Packaging Industry where he remained for the next 10 years. Andy enjoyed skydiving, fishing, hunting and watching football with friends, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

     Andy is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Ashley Crochet-Hutchinson and their beautiful daughter, Ashlynn Elizabeth Hutchinson age 4 of Texas City. During his time in the service, he had another amazing daughter, Amber Nicole Hutchinson age 13 residing in the Philippines. He is also survived by his loving mother, Lauretta Peck and step-father, Darryl Peck of Seguin; youngest brother, Ryan Peck of Gilbert, Arizona and fiancée, Jennifer Weatherford; oldest brother, Adam Carpenter of St. Albans, West Virginia and fiancée, Melissa Settle. Andy is also remembered by in-laws, cousins, aunts and uncles as well as numerous friends.

     A memorial service in remembrance and honor of Andy will be held at 2 p.m. on September 10, 2016 at Hayes Funeral Home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account at USAA Federal Savings Bank for donations to his daughter’s college education. Contact family to receive account information.
