HITCHCOCK – Ms. Jennie Scott passed from this life Thursday afternoon, December 29, 2016, in Alvin.

Born December 27, 1961 in Denver, Ms. Scott had been a resident of Hitchcock for 2 years, previously of Denver.  She was a member of Arcadia First Baptist Church and enjoyed listening to music, books and magazines.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. Scott, Sr.; grandparents, Ben Scott, Bertha Clark, J.C. and Jennie Vee Atkins.

Survivors include her mother, Ethel M. “Nancy” Scott of Hitchcock; brother, Robert Leroy Scott, Jr., and wife, Kerry of Hitchcock; nephew, Samuel Scott; niece, Atiana Scott; aunt, Wilma Munson of Lincoln, Nebraska; uncles, James Atkins and wife, Carla of Surprise, Arizona, Ed Atkins and wife, Janet of Algoa; numerous cousins and many friends in Denver.   

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, with Dr. Rick Smith officiating.
