DICKINSON – Mr. Richard Mike Duke passed from this life on Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2016.

Born November 2, 1943 in Vidor, to, Carl A. and Emma Lee (Boudreau) Duke. Mr. Duke had been a lifetime resident of Dickinson and a former store manager at Perry’s and later Family Dollar for over 20 years.  He was always building and working on things and especially enjoyed working with wood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melvin Duke; and a brother-in-law, Tom Yeates.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 41 years, Delois Duke; son, David Duke of Dickinson; daughter, Tammy Barrow and husband, Terrell of League City; brother, Terry Duke and wife, Diane of Vidor; sister, Marlene Yeates of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brittany Aprias, Kayleigh Aprias, Kinslee Hodges; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Hooks Cemetery in Kountze, Texas with Pastor Ray McNames officiating under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Duke, Terrell Barrow, Robert Ochoa, Greg Hagrud, Colby Loechel and Johnny Duke.
