Dorothy (Brandon) Wilson

     SANTA FE - Mrs. Dorothy (Brandon) Wilson passed from this life Tuesday afternoon, September 6, 2016, in Webster.

     Born January 21, 1933 in Arcadia, Mrs. Wilson had been a resident of Santa Fe for 12 years, previously of Grapeland.  She enjoyed yardwork, cooking and embroidering.

     She was preceded in death by her parents Issac and Ella Brandon, husband George Thomas Wilson and her sisters and one brother. 

     Survivors include her children, Chuck and Wanda Riggins of Katy, Tom and Margaret Snively of Santa Fe, George and Janet Wilson of Huntington, Beau and Bonnie Freeman of Santa Fe, Dennis and Robin Wilson of Centerville; brother-in-law, Scott Wilson of Palestine; grandchildren, Christopher and Sophia Riggins, Matthew and Danielle Riggins, Eric and Sheila Riggins, Jenna Riggins, Harlie Ann and Blake Bourque, Jacob Snively, Sarah and Katie Wilson, Dr. Lance and Gelsey Freeman, Amber Birdwell, Nikki Freeman, Wayne and Laurie Wilson, Tiara Phillips, Crystal and Cody Blocker; great grandchildren, Ariel, Natalie, Maia, Penelope, Barron, Kennedy, Davey, Adalynn, Mia, Liam, Keagan, Taylor, Hannah and great-great grandchild, Brantley. 

     Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2016, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Tommy C. Sprinkle officiating.  Interment will follow at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery. 

     Pallbearers will be Lance Freeman, Blake Bourque, Eric Riggins, Matthew Riggins, Jacob Snively and Wayne Wilson. 

     Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 10412 Highway 6, Hitchcock, TX (409) 925-3501. 

     Memorials may be made to any Hospice organization.
