I was so fortunate to teach with Iris. She was a mentor and a friend to me, and I learned so much from this beautiful lady with a soul of gold. My deepest sympathy for your family. I know she leaves a hole in your hearts, but fill it with the light of her smile, the love in her touch and the many memories she made with each of you. May she rest in the arms of Jesus forever.

Such a wonderful lady. John, your family is in my prayers. Your mom is visiting with mine! I know this is a sorrowful time, but remember her love for you!

John, Neal, Adrian and Gary and family,
The morning after your mom passed there was the most beautiful sunrise! My first thought was, that must have been how heaven looked when she showed up. She was always more concerned about others than herself. Your mom was so proud of each of you "boys," and worried and prayed when things came against you or your families!
When your dad passed she said to me, “Laurel, what are we going to do without him?" I have felt that way about her this week, as I'm sure you have. All we can do is lean on His everlasting arms.
I'm praying for you all.
Laurel

Our love and prayers go out to the entire Windham Family. Your Mother, was such a blessing to so many, many people. She inspired and showed the world what it is truly like to be a true and faithful Christian. Her presence here on earth will be sorely missed but just knowing that she is now in the presence of our most precious heavenly Father who promises us that "whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." When we too pass, we will all be first embraced by our precious Savior, Jesus Christ, and then we will see Mrs. Iris Windham once again. She is no longer suffering but at peace with the Lord. What a wonderful promise! Amen. May the Lord continue to bless your family and fill you with the peace and joy in your heart that surpasses all understanding. I love you my dear, sweet friend, John. Give our love to Eileen, your children, your brothers, and the entire Windham Family. With our sincere love and respect to all, Molly and Raul Benitez

Sending our heart felt condolences to the family of the most "Christ-like" person we have ever met. She was such a prayer warrior for so many! She will be sorely missed at Arcadia Christian Church and in our community! As she would say (when asked how she was even in her final days), "I'm blessed" to have had the honor of knowing her & loving her!
