Godspeed Joe.
I used to ride the ferry all the time back in the 90's, going to and from my home town in Louisiana, I would make sure that I would get on the ferry that Joe was on, he would let me come up to the wheelhouse and watch thru the big window what was going on out front of the ferry. It was nice to ride up there. He was such a cool person. I first met him at the Alta Loma Barbershop, where I was working at the time. That's when I found out he was a Captain on the ferry. I did ride the Colonel a few times while he was working there. Please accept my deepest sympathies for his passing, he will be missed. Goodspeed Joe.
